Hello fellow nofappers i got a question ive made it to 65 days before i did feel better but did not get the complete benefits because i became depressed because i got my heartbroken. but thats not why im here im here because i need some advice about rebooting and about relapse always when i relapse i binge because i think "i fucked up anyway might aswell go all out now'' im kinda really depressed because i dont know what to do and i dont have hope that i will keep this up i know i will relapse sooner or later im at my 6 day again now ive quit smoking weed for over 2 months now( ive smoked weed everyday for 4 years now) i gave up my smoking habit and now i want to give up my porn addiction my question is for example if i do nofap for a month or 2 then i PMO again but only once and instead of binging i quit again for aslong as possible for example another 2 months before pmoing again does my brain still heal? or if i PMO only once after a 2 month streak im i back to square one again? this is really putting me down because i know i will relapse somewhere along the line... did i undo all the healing i got in the months abstance from PMO in one single fap session??

  2. No you don't undo everything with one time. You have worked hard and learned a lot. You can set yourself back a ways but all is not lost.
Focus on now and let the days you win fall behind you. The future is in the future and the past can not change.

man the second streak will be more easier and you will be more experienced about how to deal with urges and bad feelings.. i think you are now in a good position to get rid of this addiction for good.

Hey there Nevs! First of all, congrats for giving up on smoking, it shows that you have a great will power.
I do not think that relapsing once and doing one pmo will cause tremendous damage yet you should be wary about the chaser effect. We are here for you

You don't undo all progress by relapsing no. But as with any addiction, it will be hard to limit yourself to only relapse once.

Anyway. You quit smoking (weed), that already is a real big accomplishment. So don't be too hard on yourself, and don't raise the bar too high too fast. Small steps. I couldn't kick all my addictions at once either.

No. If you let the PMO continue then yes.
To answer your first question... A relapse sets you back as long as you let it. For example that "i fucked up anyway might aswell go all out now" mentality leads to another and another relapse. Before you know it youre back on that train. Let that one relapse be THAT ONE RELAPSE.
