Back in my day, before the internet took over and online gaming took over, people used to gather up on one tv and have house tournaments in Conker's Bad Fur Day, Street Fighter, Killer Instinct, Super Smash Bros. Mario Kart, Halo 1 & 2, take turns playing Mario 64, and LOZ: Majora's Mask. Borrowing games back in the day was great, but you always had to make sure you knew where the kid lived that was borrowing your game so they wouldn't jack you.

Back in my day, we went bike riding to the park to burn, steal, explore and flirt with girls, because not every one had internet, let alone interest in it, so we used to just cause trouble as teenagers.

I remember renting movies as the previous poster before said. Blockbuster, and Game Crazy, renting games. It was great!

Back in my day porn existed primarily either as printed pictures in magazines that were difficult but not impossible to get. Or movies that were shown in seedy theatres in sketchy parts of town that were damn near impossible to get into unless you were an adult. And the people that frequented those theatres were looked down on as pervs.

Unless you could manage to get your own stash of nudie mags, getting to see a naked woman was a rare event.

Back in my day, there were only 150 pokemon.

Now... there's like what? 900 or so?

I saw Lunchables for the first time in a long time, and they just seem so boring now.

I remember when we had the Mega ones, that came with full soda cans and prizes and everything.
They also had more fun designs for the packaging.

  7. Yeah, definitely.

  8. Back in my day we made mudpies, stirred leaves and water in pots, made flower tea from picked flowers, climbed trees, played mud soccer, slipped and slided(?) all afternoon long, slid in the mud, played in the rain, played marco polo in the pool and pretended to be mermaids, played hide n seek outside in the night...c:

@number1disgrace VHS-Rewind-Contraptions that you had to buy in order to rewind vhs tapes while rewinding another in your VCR. I remember that, and quite frankly, I don't miss that

  13. I miss vhr players that rewinded and rewinding the movie for another stranger or friend lol. You'd feel guilty for not doing so and each time you got a film you'd pray to god that it had been rewinded already

  15. The vhs player in my bedroom wouldn't rewind, so i had to do it manually.

  16. lolol. What does that mean? I think we like double pressed a button and listened to it rewind and we would know when it was finished by the sound

  17. Yeah, mine was supposed to do that, but it was broke. I had to turn the wheels on the tape with my fingers to rewind the tape lol. It wasn't fun

  18. ell oh el, thats a pain. You had to suffer to watch a movie:emoji_sweat_smile:
