Just relapsed after 31 days, my longest ever streak. Dusting myself down and ready to start again. My P free streak is still going strong but I found that I started browsing models etc on instagram which I feel deep down is just as bad in terms of trying to rewire my brain from pixel arousal. I have made a new counter to try and keep that activity under control. Do you guys know whether you can rewire from P to more softcore stuff such as just hot girl pics and then rewire to nothing or is it the case whereby to your brain, the softcore and the hardcore are exactly the same?

    Thanks!

I would be too nervous about the eventual escalation back to porn. The seeking behavior is still there, which would only reinforce the hacked neurotransmitters that you fucked up. At that point you're just getting accustomed to the same behavior, only using a different medium.

Idk bra, would not do. My reset was a compressed timeline of the same shit. Fapping to memories turned into Facebook turned into porn. Just leave it alone is my recommendation.

Yeah, I would leave it alone. It's all the same to your brain I think, it's all reinforcing the addiction cycle.

    31 days is awesome.

Congratulation on the achievement and on being ready to move on. You are an inspiration! Let us get our lives back!

I have to agree with NeinJudenstaat, I don't see any benefit of doing it. It is very difficult to draw a border once you start at it again, and the line will just get thinner and thinner. It would be best if you can abstain, find and admire beauty of creation elsewhere. Force your brain to look for the beauty of life, finding it in the all new places and forms will make you rejoice!

Looking at pictures of hot girls is objectifying of a human being with her dignity and soul. Less clothes does not mean you can see more of the girl. Try to always see a person behind each photo, try to get the big picture, not just visual triggers. Thinking about the inside, not the looks, will occupy your mind and sway you away from shallow thoughts.

Peeping "NN" and glamour channels is not a substitute therapy for porn, it is not the way out, it is just the opposite. Nourishing true friendships and love, art, creating instead of consuming, is.
