I've experienced some form of brain fogging and I believe it's because of my pmo addiction. I've come to this conclusion by the drop in my grades that I've observed before and after I've got exposure to pmo. Is this inability to make clear decisions and visualizations because of lack of motivation due to pmo or is there more to it than just this? I've also found myself more productive when I've been on long streaks (end of 2 weeks). But I'm just curious if there is more to it than just reduced motivation. Also Is there any way of enhacing our decision makeing capabilities and improve it?

  3. I had a lot of it, to the point I couldn't focus a lot of the time. Forget things, names, details, what I went to the store for...etc. The worse would be talking to my wife it's like I would hear her but not comprehend her.

It has gotten much better since I started to back off PMO the last couple years. There had been great improvement the last year and especially the past 6 months.

I will add that things I used to do would write w groccery list or to do list and try to remember the list for training but have it with to double check or make sure I didn't forget something. It has helped, that and slow down and force myself to listen and focus.

There is not so much to say in terms of brain fogging.
I really like to read book- especially history-ones. It's difficult to understand all those maps/terms/tables/blueprints etc. when your brain is clouded by thoughts (not every thought is related to porn- some of them circling around unpleasant events from my life/ accidents or interpersonal failures).

I've found really good motivation to being sober. If I would like to enjoy my books without any perturbances I should suspend watching porn. It works in some cases. There is a large potential in diversifying your life and making all those activities base in your recovery. Now when I'm trying to put hand into my pants I'm thinking "Won't it interfere with my book/gym/ASG session today/tomorrow?".
