What the actual fuck? This has to be one of the most bizarr & disgusting things I ever read regarding porn....
Thanks for the wake-up call dude, reading this article made me realize even more how fucked up this world has become thanks to porn & even more eager to stop this BS-addiction once & for all.

I live in South Korea. In public, it's the perfect [ly repressed] society. In private, it's a cesspool. The country is so repressed, that men have to get women drunk on 'soju' then drag them into 'love hotels'... all the while the women meekly protest. It's really unhealthy. All the men are on porn... I've had the braver students in my class mentioning it at times. At least in the west, we have a well-developed individualist ethical tradition that we can resort to for our moral compass... in the east, morality is just defined by the collective [Confucianism].

 

Hey Buzz, I’m pretty sure I remember you’re Catholic? How do you find the Church there? As you describe above, or vibrant and devout? It would be interesting to see how it fits, in context. Also, Asian women have been fetishized for sex, forever. I am sadly unsurprised by this thread.

 

I'd say the reason for a lot of the 'fetishization' of Asian women by western men is due to the more militant attributes of feminism that is running rampant in the west... and not feminine at all.

I am not a church-goer here in Asian... maybe when I get back home...

 

Thanks for the reply. I do find the male/female dynamic fascinating. There’s lots to say, I don’t know if it’s productive to engage. But women, and men, each need the other to be authentic to their nature. Individual natures vary. I don’t think we get to put a wish list on to other people. Each can make their choice according to what they find attractive. If Asian women are seen as more attractive, then western women will be disregarded for them. This is already happening in Australia, to a degree. The awful and racist term for a man who prefers an Asian woman is called “yellow fever”.

 

I'm from Australia and I've never heard of this concept. Are you describing australia in general or just the australian diaspora in Phuket?

A lot of men are finding western woman too bolshy and outright unattractive... any 'hotness' they display on the outside is matched by a spoilt personality on the inside. Add social media to feminist ideology, and you have new breed of self-entitled, opinionated, and narcissistic women.

Yes, very sad. You know something is wrong with the culture when apparently successful middle-aged men, with chauffeurs and black limousines, are publicly vomiting in the middle of the street. I have a vivid memory, because so symbolic, of one such person leaning out his window to make a mess of the gleaming and polished paintwork.
