Hello, I am a 27 year old male student. I work part-time in order to support myself while getting my degree so I could pursue my dream career.
Lately I have been trying to get my life back on track after making some poor decisions that affected both myself and those close to me. Looking back I realized that a lot of my problems stemmed from constant procrastination which was fueled by a number of small addictions that I've had over the years, porn addiction being the biggest. It has gotten so bad that even when I am tired after a long day I would use the very few hours left to search for porn and masturbate (sometimes more than once). It wasn't even about pleasure anymore. It became a ritual that I felt I had to do, regardless of being tired or even ill.
So after looking back and reevaluating some of my life's choices I began to incorporate a number of beneficial routines into my life, like exercise, better diet and dental care. They gave me a sense of accomplishment that helped to come to terms with my porn addiction and seek help.
Today I am beginning my PMO counter in hopes of ridding myself of my addiction and achieving personal growth.

P.S. Sorry if the post seems kinda "clunky", English is not my first language and it is my very first forum post ever (was lurking for the most part of my internet history).

No worries, your post is fine.

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?
