Time to change my life and I know it's doable

    So I've begun my nofap journey in February. My motivation was to change my life for the better I have some plans for myself that I believe can realize, so I gave myself some sort of urgency.

    I managed to stay without porn for 25 days on the first try. So it was quite an accomplishment for me. But during this period I had two MO events, one was after the first week and second almost two weeks later. So the longest time without masturbation was two weeks in total.

    During this whole three weeks period without any PMO I was certainly feeling better, has been more energetic, productive and outgoing. I was just doing my thing, reaching my targets etc.

    But in the past one and a half week, something went wrong. I've PMO'd around 5 times and 3 of them happened in the last Friday and Saturday. I can tell you that today I'm not feeling too good. I lack the motivation to do things and instead I play more vidya than usual. Although I'm still setting myself daily/weekly targets to achieve and manage to reach them.

    What I fear the most tho is that I can ruin the pace of my life progress I'd say. I'm afraid I might lose control that I have regained just recently. What do I mean?
    Well, when I go partying (do it once or twice a month at most) or just casually drink alcohol with friends I might feel tired afterwards and urges can hit you strong (and my latest PMOs was the result of that). The other thing that I fear is that I can relapse back to smoking green. Haven't touched that in the last 3+ months until just recently. Didn't liked it too much but I'm a type of person who rather does it alone - that's why I'm fearful.

    I want to reclaim the control over myself, been planning for a while going to the gym and try out those free first entrances but I still hesitate (need to know what exercises should I do, watch my diet better) and I'm still waiting for the better weather so I can start running again.

    That's my introduction I decided to make so I will feel more accountable in my endeavours. Thank you for reading and feel free to ask me any questions.

  2. Hey @A47YB8311R019K3X ,

    Very glad you are here. I'm just a normal member. Not a moderator or anything like that.

    When I arrived here, I was very confused by the program. So many terms, ideas, different opinions. I was in some ways as overwhelmed with NoFap as I was with pmo.

    I found two things that helped me.

    First, was reading up on the program and figuring out where to start and how to work my program. The best page is the one with the list of all the resources available.

    https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?threads/new-users-list-of-rebooting-resources.50878/

    That page explained the program. I read every article and watched all the videos on that page.

    Next, was the community. By getting involved, reading people's posts, remembering to "like" the posts, reading the post not only in the forum, but on people's profiles, I found a great group of people.

    This is a diverse community. We have religious people and secular ones. There are men and women. People with months of no pmo and those just starting out. As well, there are many different approaches to remove porn from our lives forever.

    Keep reading posts and profiles. You will find someone who is telling your own story. Keep posting your own story, someone needs to read it.

    Looking forward to reading many more posts from you,

  3. One of the ways I got involved with the fellowship was by reading some really great journals. Reading other's stories with their victories and even defeats is a big part of my program.

    I've included journals from all age groups, spiritual members, religious members, secular members, male and female. You should find journals that help. If not, look around, there are hundreds of others from which to choose. When I say "it works if you work it", reading journals is part of that work.

    Once you open a journal, click "Watch Thread" in the upper right of the page to get alerts when new posts are made. Here are just a few:

    There are many more, and you can discover them on your own. But, these are great places to start.

    This is a work in progress. So, if a journal has changed or is no longer active, look around there are some amazing journals on here.

    PS - Starting a journal also helped me a great deal.

    The journals are listed by age groups on the forum start page. Most members run one journal only. That way both the member and others can go back and look at their journey at a later time.

    Hope to read your journal soon. Also, in your personal details you can put a link to your journal. Then, appears under your avatar.

  4. For me NoFap is 1/2 program & 1/2 fellowship.

    Click on these people and post a "hello" on their profiles.

    I've found that the bricks that hold this community together are cemented with the support of the members of the fellowship.

    @romlel
    @LeoJohn
    @Gray Wolf
    @StarLightReboot
    @Chriss27
    @ludwig525
    @hoping_cannon
    @SteelshoT
    @reystronaut
    @2525
    @weddingnails
    @PatrickR

    Look at with whom they exchange messages and you will find more profiles.

    So, if you would have found more profiles yourself, why suggest these particular ones as a start? Those relationships started with just saying hello. So, my ESH is that saying hello has kept the fellowship alive for myself.

    Looking forward to your success and in seeing you say hello on these profiles,
