As I was registering for the forum, I had a very sad realization dawned on me - I haven't had a single bedroom encounter with a woman that wasn't tinged by Porn Induced Erectile dysfunction. I'm 29 years old, and I only just lost my virginity last year. I probably would have lost it to my first girlfriend at 23 years old when she tried to initiate sex...if I had been able to get hard.

Most recently, I had a girl invite herself over to my place - I've never had that happen before. She's on my bed practically begging for sex...and I just couldn't get hard because I'd PMOed three times the night before thinking "Well, it's not like there is anyone in my life right now, I can start my reboot on Monday." I just fell off the bandwagon of my third major streak in attempting to reboot - 29 days without masturbation, 31 days without porn.

Since I succumbed trying to go at it by myself, I figure it's time to join NoFap and get a little more support.

Hey man, pick yourself up and keep going. The long term results are more important than short-term PMO. Don't binge. You can binge on the girl when you get laid :)

Did you join the NF newsletter? They send you a free PDF with "hacks" to help you quit.

    Haha good point :)

I did. I was ironically trying to practice the breathing exercise they sent out just before I ended up binging. I'll do better this time around.

For sure man, you need to stay away from porn if it is fully preventing you from having real sex. Once you abstain for a while, when you slip into a fantasy, which I think is inevitable (it'll happen in your dreams even if you shove the thoughts out of your mind while you're awake) you need to take control of the fantasy and make it focus on what REAL sex is like. The tactile aspect, the smells, etc. Don't let that make you fall off the wagon, just make sure that the imagery isn't voyeuristic and pornish.
