One orgasm per day

    I am using this alternative method to combat porn addiction and an array of symptoms that I have with orgasm like brain fog and low motivation, I'm not sure of doing a normal nofap because I fear it will cause depression and I am on fluoxetine because of this.

    Do you think that this sort of limitation is also useful?
     
  2. It can be, were you a multiple a day user? Some people go cold turkey, some wean off like your method. Cold turkey is most time efficient, weaning makes it a little less stressful.

    Personally if you try cold turkey, you might just end up doing one a day anyway but since you don’t make it you will feel bad, but alternatively if you do once a day you relieve the pressure so you don’t worry to much. Whatever works for you, but try to stop the P forever at least then you’re heading in the right direction for sure

    Yes, I used to masturbate with porn more than one time per day and I was always tired and depressed.
     
  4. I see, well, I’d recommend cold turkey is best, go for the hard 90. If it’s hard, then maybe O once a day until you can make a few days, then a week. But the problem you’ll probably face is when you O, you will want to use P after because O without it will be not as good, so becareful is that.

    It’s hard to say, but whatever works for you, but personally never P and cold turkey:/

    For me it's all or nothing lol I haven't masturbated in 9 months now I kinda see how pointless it is because I have a lot more energy and I feel my testosterone going up and I feel a lot more attractive to the opposite sex and I'm a lot less stressed and feel a lot more disciplined when handling my emotions and I'm just a lot more humble

    Well I still did get nudes from this girl on snap chat but that was 6 months ago I stopped that and got rid of Instagram and tinder so I'm still avoiding p as much as possible I definitely noticed more benefits when I completely got rid of those apps as far as Facebook and YouTube I'm still on there but I don't aimlessly look at girls picture or anything like that

    One per day is too much, I limited myself to one orgasm on Saturday and two on Sunday, I really don't care if they are achieved with fantasy, porn or sex, the only important thing is to stay within the limits.

  11. The main thing is to eliminate porn, almost all of the negatives of PMO come from porn, only a small minority of them come from masturbation, and fewer still from orgasm. I think masturbating to porn once a day is too frequent, but masturbating to porn vs masturbating without porn makes a HUGE difference. So if you're cutting out porn and just limiting masturbation to a maximum of once per day, then yes that'll have huge benefits if you were previously a porn watcher.

    I'd still try to cut down a bit more than that. My advice is: As a hard limit, aim never to MO on consecutive days (i.e. if you MO'd yesterday, then wait until at least tomorrow), and try to get longer streaks in where you can. You'll get most of the benefits of NoFap (about 90% of which will come from simply not watching porn), without it being quite as tough or restricting.

    While I personally don't feel there is such a thing as healthy masturbation, your brain is NOT getting changed by watching porn at least.

    I can't say my penis is a toy ever again unfortunately and don't care to experience "little deaths" anymore by my own palm/s.

    Sexual transmutation doesn't happen through masturbation and personally I see more value in keeping it in.

    Sometimes it seems that I am depressed both if I masturbate or I am in nofap but considering that orgasm cause me also brain fog is better to stay depressed without brain fog.

    I take anti depressants. A regular reboot will not cause you any additional issues.

    Based on my own personal experiences and from what I've read, I would absolutely agree that Porn has to go with no second thoughts. I can say that Porn was the one thing that helped me destroy my intimacy with my wife. Now we are trying to get it back but it's very very difficult. I wish I knew all what I know now about porn and what it does to the brain and body and I would have not been so stupid back then. Well excessive masterbation isn't much better but my advice is to quit the porn all together and give yourself a reasonable but strict goal as far as frequency and such. No one is gonna do this for you man thats what the shitty part about all of this garbage is. You do some very hard work and take a deep look inside of your self and youll find that festering thing that is causing you all this heartache and self destruction. Maybe try the next time you have a the slightest feeling or thought that leads to masterbation you got do something active or something else that distracts your attention for 30 minutes and I guarantee you will not do what you've done in the past. It worked for me do what you gotta lose. Stay strong and happy new year
