How To Walk Away

    I have been a terrible PMO'er for the longest time I'm married with children and have tried stopping on several occasions. I get right into quitting then all of a sudden after a week I head into a down ward spiral and straight up binge of PMO. I've tried using different browsers (k9) and putting restrictions on my phone. Getting rid of my phone is not an option at this point as I need it for work. I've found the best method is to walk away and remove myself from that situation but I find a lot of the times I can't! It's like I'm frozen and I can hear myself screaming inside to stop but I just can't do it! I was wondering if anyone else has found this method the most effective and what they find is the best way to stop. I just can't I need help and feel trapped, I need to be held accountable and want to beat this on my own but am going to need help. Any words of wisdom or stories shared would be much appreciated. Hope to hear from you guys soon!

    The only way you can fully quit PMO is with willpower.If you have the willpower to walk away when you get those urges you are set to go.Keep k9 and all the protection but still only willpower will defeat your addiction not the restrictions you make.

    Shut your phone down when you're at home. Implement new rules like no phone usage during meals and the sort. Don't take your phone to the gym or any other spot within a close radius of home. Reduce your dependency on your phone and you will see some miracles! I see that you've mentioned that you need your phone for work but can you use a phone that doesn't have internet connection?

    I cannot see how that is going to help. He's not going to watch porn/masturbate whilst having dinner with his wife and kids!
