    I agree that there needs to be understanding on both sides, no matter what your shortcomings are. It's something I don't see a lot, and sadly the way society is portraying marriage and relationships in general, I think the idea of understanding and working through things is slowly going to fade. (I pray I'm completely wrong.) Yet, there is a glimmer or hope for those who are able to get through it. The most amazing feeling is knowing that you and your partner worked something out and did it together.

    Brofist is just a silly term for a fist-bump between any guys. I'm not a brony (although I know a few). Powerpuff Girls was actually my big fandom. I'm not kidding - dead serious.

    Anyway, I'm rather afraid that the sense of "having worked through" these particular things is going to be a long time coming when the work-through method consists of "don't talk about it." Regardless of the difficulties and as much as I bitch about it in my journal, I still know the relationship is worth it all. Just don't understand why it couldn't be a little easier.
