Yep, I've felt like that too. That I'm no longer addicted, that it's easy and that I have no desire whatsoever to watch P. TBH, I still feel that way, but I know it's not necessarily true and that everything could change in a heartbeat. Thanks for sharing, it's stories like this that keep me on my guard and prevent me from getting complacent.

This thread is a great cautionary tale for all of us. Clearly Plute has wonderfully conveyed how strong--yet human--he is. But he also beautifully conveyed how dangerous this addiction is.

It's nice to see how his words bring us all together.

Yes, thank you Plute. It is easy to get complacent or over-confident, I have relapsed before as well. It is good to not beat yourself up, instead learn from it and move forward. I like to think that the addiction is always ready, doing push-ups and sit-ups getting stronger, just waiting for its time, a moment of weakness, a hesitation, and then BAM, it rears up and goes for you. When I think of it like this it reminds me I need to be aware, present and vigilant. I have a morning saying that I go through each and every day, and state my intention for the day is no PMO and all the forms it can take, porn, images and pictures, fantasizing, edging, ogling, staring, objectifying, i will not do any of that. It's basically re-stating my commitment each day, to me a great way to start the day, sets the right tone and attitude. I just read a post, it's an old one that keeps getting updated by D.J. "In Case You Didn't Know..." It mentions this and many other helpful tips. Definitely a good read. Good luck on your recommitment.

Plutonium, just get right back into The No PMO routine again. Just acknowledge your mistake and keep moving forward. One mistake does not erase all of the improvements and hard work you’ve done. So keep positive and surround yourself with supportive people and positive activities especially in these days and before you know it you’ll be right back up there with the higher reboot numbers. You have done well with such a long streak and you deserve to stay successful and keep going. We’re all supporting you and cheering for you.
