usually when I get to around day 7 I notice a huge increase in energy and feel more masculine. I'm sure this is my testosterone levels increasing after several days of abstaining from frequent ejaculation and watching porn.

    Does anyone else feel this?

I do. I also get headaches around that time. I want to power through the headaches and retain the gains this time around.

There is a study around somewhere suggesting that testosterone increases after the first week and then levels out at the new higher level.

  4. I felt it in the first 5-10 days as well, and I did a blood test and my testosterone was higher than it was before I did NoFap a few months prior. I can't tell the difference right now but I hope it goes up even higher. The higher the testosterone the better the sex!

@Dake1963 - care to share the source? I'd be interested in looking into this. I don't know much about the topic, and don't even know what my 'normal' baseline would be (never had it tested or anything), but I would like to understand what effect the years of OTT porn and/or masturbating might have had on this, and more to the point my current reboot attempt (through its various stages). Just to show how ignorant I am, if someone were to tell me that constant PM'ing depletes your testosterone, I'd believe it - and conversely, if someone said that your reproductive system working overtime raises your testosterone to abnormally high levels, I'd find that equally credible!
