I've just joined, been a lurker for a fair while.

I gave up P many months ago and don't really feel urges to look at it anymore but I continued to MO regularly.

I now don't MO and I'm 17 days in and feeling generally OK.

However, big news hit the world, many female celebrities had their phones hacked and private photos put online for all to see.

I suddenly found myself thumbing through them, somehow convincing myself it was all part of reading the news, just to see how bad they really were.

I caught myself just in time before P took a hold of me again.

I'm posting this here because others might be so tempted as I was. Don't go looking, it's just porn at the end of the day and could easily derail you in your efforts. If you avoid looking at these images (even censored ones) then you'll also feel good that you haven't participated in this horrible thing that has been done to these people.

    Good luck!

  2. Well, the best thing you can do in this issue, is ... nothing. By posting topics like this you only attract attention of horny nofappers, who have enough problems with themselves. ;) Don´t take it as critics, your puprose was fine and clear. :) I wouldn´t even know about this problem if there weren´t topics about this problem on nofap.org.

The biggest problem I have with it is that it kind of ruined my perspective of certain said celebrity. Well, not necessarily "ruined" - I just didn't want to think of her naked at all. I wasn't comfortable with it. And then I realized: that's how it's supposed to be.

Kind of what prompted me to come here, actually. Started to realize that once you take away the anonymity and add an identity that you cared about, suddenly women were important. It's that anonymity that makes porn something we as men can just dismiss.
