    Hi all,

I honestly do not know how should i introduce myself. I started watching porn at the age of 11 year 2003. There are many reasons why i kept on watching porn till 2017. Abuse from women, molestation, rape, parental abuse, no friends. Porn was the only thing that made me feel good and i got addicted. Over the years i wanted to stop, because when i met the love of my life i almost puked when we were doing something sexual. This was one of the reasons that made me start researching about how to get over an addiction. Then i found NoFap and started reading threads. Today I decided to post one myself. Maybe the things i went through in my life some of you have went through too. If I could get some help here, that would make me feel i m not alone, it would help me keep fighting.

Hey, it's good you're here. Porn addiction is tough to deal with, and much more so if you're attempting to do it alone, so I hope you'll frequently participate in the forums and in real life SA groups as well, if you feel it appropriate.

It's too bad you've dealt with some tough things in your life, but we've all got to do our best to move on, taking it one day at a time.

You said that porn has been one of the main things you've used to make you feel better. For that reason, finding hobbies you're passionate about is extremely important. Try out different things to determine exactly which areas you have talents and passions. Examples include exercise, woodworking, graphic design, car repair, volunteer work of some sort, hiking and climbing.

It's also important to be social. It's great that you have a girlfriend. I'd highly recommend becoming as involved as possible with various groups. The more socially engaged you are, the easier you'll find the journey to freedom from pornography.

Anyhow, I hope it all goes well, and be sure to let us know if you have any questions.
