Journaling has been great for me. Ups and downs aren't always fun, but lots of us do experience that. Do what works for you :)
Yeah sorry been really inactive lately, I'm having my up and downs. I promise to start journaling and give it my all once uni starts
Not gonna pretend I didn't mess up, otherwise I'd have to pretend there was nothing to learn from my mistake. Reset the counter and move on.
Depends on the video games. And, your discipline in not wasting too much time. I like to do things with my personal friends online maybe 3 hours once every couple weeks. That's just because I'm so busy, though :)
Just like to hear some opinions on using video games to distract PMO urges. Strengths/weaknesses? Anything to be cautious about?
I find life much better in socializing and hanging out. Home environment makes PMO more accessible and creates harder to control urges.
Hey I'm back guys! It took some time to recollect myself after exams but I'm gonna start journalling again. Thanks for all the support guys!
But thankfully, God blessed me with a perfect exam performance. Now I'm all the more convicted to abstain and study hard for my next exams!
hello bro! Still remember me haha. Are you almost done with your exams? I sure am. Only 3 hours worth of papers left then I'm free next week. Stay strong!
Last night I lost a lot of sleep and low-key regretted not PMOing to fall asleep faster. I had an exam today and I was really worried
Botched my English exam. 5 more to go. Relapsing and I'm wallowing in sloth and video games. Not proud if myself.
Oh dear sorry to hear that. Try not to let the disappointment of the English exam effect the others. Try to break up your negative routine. Maybe listening to The School of Greatness podcast will be of some help https://lewishowes.com/sogpodcast/
Soz for being MIA. Had to study for exams. I've still been relapsing for the past month though (sigh). Had my first exam today. I did bad.
Too anxious and stressed to sleep. But I won't take the easy way out and pmo. I'm going to build myself into someone I can respect
I found meditation to help if I have immediate stress/anxiety before bed. If it occurs throughout the day, exercise is also a nice way to get away from things for a few days. Of course, if it's anything you can control also involving work, don't procrastinate either!
Hang in there Man - focus on your goals. Build strategies to counter the ability to relapse in your usual spots/times...shake things up and work on saying "NO". Make it a challenge and try 7 days - small goals add up to larger goals, and are more achievable in the short run...therefore more motivating. You can do it - we're all here to cheer you on!
