Hey everyone, I'm new to all this. I just started my NoFap journey yesterday. I got introduced to masturbation in 9th grade health. We have a motto "Sex can wait, masturbate". I would say that I've watching porn and masturbating for about 4 years and I think it's time to stop. I've had 3 instances this year where I wasn't able to have sex because of porn induced erectile dysfunction. I just wasn't getting hard for anything and it was really embarrassing. I would make up excuses like "I just masturbate too much" or "I'm just not in the mood" I would even tell myself that I wasn't attracted to the girl even though I was. I've just been really frustrated and annoyed because of this so that's why I've decided to start NoFap. I do have some questions though so I y'all could get back to me, that would be great.
- How many days until the porn induced erectile dysfunction should go away?
- Can I still masturbate without porn and will the porn induced erectile dysfunction go away?

Im new here but I have noticed prople saying 90 days of no orgasim is a good way to begin to heal ED. If you masterbate w/o porn it will just lead to looking at porn in my opinion.

You're in the right place. Check out the glossary https://www.nofap.com/glossary/
You can also start a reboot log https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php#reboot-logs.8
Trying to help others is the key to helping yourself, in my opinion. Just start replying to other posts and encouraging those that seem to need help.
You can do it!

Welcome to this community, this can be a beneficial tool in combatting the parasitic cycle of PMO. As for the recovery period, view it like a new tuxedo purchase, it will be tailored to the individual, just be patient and fully committed, it will pay off . If you're 18 years old, you have a wonderful opportunity to redirect your life early on, for the better.

As stated already, get "plugged in", be genuinely involved here, and you'll see how mutually beneficial it becomes.

I would say give your brain and your body a rest. Do not masturbate. Didn't other things to do that burn off some energy. You will like it more when you look back than having whacked it whenever you felt the urge. Porn is not the only problem. It is sexual immorality in all its forms.
