I was puting together a young men's lesson this morning (Why do we have adversity?), and this quote by Henry B Eyring really jumped out at me

"The test a loving God has set before us is not to see if we can endure difficulty. It is to see if we can endure it well."

It really made me think of the addiction many of us find ourselves in. It made me realize that a piece of a "turning point" for me was when I turned from just suffering my weaknesses, to suffering them nobly.

I'm just really grateful for inspired leaders.

Thanks for this post. I'm curious what you mean by suffering nobly, or enduring well. I think a lot of us have endured/suffered through this trial in a not so noble way. Perhaps you could explain a little more deeply? I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
