Is it wrong, that lets hypothetically say I'm already 300plus days into NoFap right and I spend money on going to a porn convention out in Cali or Miami somewhere. Also, in this hypothetic scernario, I've cured from ED, probably fucked a couple girls and I'm back feeling like a man. Do you think simply being around, touching and potentially being able to fuck your favorite pornstar will set an addicts mind back into the cycle of fapping??

well hypothetically ,if i was cured and back on track in my life i would go .im sure a lot of guys would disagree but in the end its your decision.if you weren't cured it will just set you back id assume. everyone is different, for myself if i am cured i plan on masturbating again in my life but not in the daily routine i was used to ,just once in a while.

For $1,500 to $3,000 an hour it is NOT hypothetical anymore. Is it worth it? Not really.

But if Tyrion Lannister finds out he would be quite impressed though.

What is the purpose of this convention? I mean what will the porn stars discuss. Will they be talking about the behind the scenes porn facts? Or the reality of porn or their lifestyles?

  9. i was going to ask why would anyone go to a porn convention, then i answered my own question quickly by asking - why would anyone watch porn in the first place?.

    Lol :D

anyway.. if you were to go then got triggered and start watching porn again (assuming you wouldnt actually have sex with a pornstar and contract aids) yeah it could be triggering, probably.. i dont know that shit doesnt exist where i live and i am not gona google/search it up because its probably gona lead to porn and relapse

If you are strong willed and able to control yourself showing up to some porn convention wouldn't be a problem. Just another experience to fill a curiosity if you have not showed up for one. Is it worth it? Don't know as I have not been to one nor do I have any interests to do so. To me it is just some huge sausage fest.

I say if you really want to get your kicks show up to a yoga studio that caters to very attractive women or hang out at a class at an Equinox if you live in a city that has them. LOL. Porn conventions can't ever hold dibs over these places.

    What is ghosting?

  15. GSarosi

    GSarosi Guest

Ghosting is when the person just suddenly disappears from your life. You call and text they never reply like things never happened. No explanation.

    http://www.bustle.com/articles/1019...you-because-you-should-always-be-prepared-for

Hell I can say I am guilty of this many times myself. With friends and potential mates. Sometimes ghosting someone is not because the person is bad but I am being "cruel" to be kind. Look life is not fair and sometimes we will not get the closure we want.

Ghosting has been around for a very long time. It is not some new social phenomenon. It is just that now there is a word for it to put this into context.

You're trying to quit porn right? So why do you even want to go to one of these events? I know I don't because I have zero interest in meeting some used up, diseased, ridiculously surgically altered skank. Why do you want to meet these ladies? Probably because you are infatuated with them, and have some kind of idolized not at all in touch with reality ideas about them. If you're trying to quit porn it's a no-brainer to avoid porn[ or porn conventions]. Is it a healthy desire to be infatuated with some skank who has boned over 5000 guys and who is a prostitute that has sex for money?

    This is kinda like saying:

'Guys, I'm addicted to crack/ cigarettes/ alcohol/ speed racing. Do you think I should attend a
Drugs are Fun/ Smokers are Us/ We Drink to Croak / Fast & Furious event?'

I mean, what harm could it do? Right?

I can't be the only one who sees an rationalization attempt here, right?

Though to answer your orignal question, it breaks down to this. Strictly speaking, there is nothing wrong with carrying out your plan into action, assuming you really stay true to your statements and cure PIED and your general philosophy doesn't change. If that's what you want, go ahead. But from my perspective you are simply making up excuses for yourself to think about your favorite pornstar one more time. Textbook withdrawal symptoms, buddy. It goes away with time.
