Dealing with a repetitive motion injury

Discussion in 'Compulsive Sexual Behavior' started by Fractured Mindset, Jun 21, 2019.

  1. I don't know if I ever masturbated excessively, but I sure did enough to develop some kind of repetitive motion injury. It started about my senior year of high school (early fall 2014), and continued to masturbate because of it.
Now, I did have my wrist xrayed and checked by a specialist, but neither found anything wrong (though I never admitted how it happened).
Is there any way I can heal this? In the 35 days I haven't masturbated, I haven't noticed much change. some days it's better, some worse, sometimes my job helps it act up. I only take Ibuprofen when it really bothers me, but that's not ver often. I also may finally end up having to confess to the doctor how it happened when I go in for my physical later this summer.

Are you even sure it was from M? What is your job? Does it involve typing?

  3. the wrist pain started before my job- which is unloading trucks at a massive supermarket. It can be a factor, but things like trimming a bush with a hand saw are more likely to make it flair up.

    Sounds like wrist tendonitis.

    I'm not a doctor, though.

I got injuries because of masturbation as well, it's quite alarming looking back.

My neck muscles on the left side used to lock frequently back when i was masturbating (i was using my left hand). Now that I quit i had no further locking.

Then, also on my left side, my scapula ended up having more mobility and used to "pop" on certain moves. Now it doesn't do that anymore.

Then my left shoulder would pop if i moved more weight than usual in the gym or did some specific shoulder exercises. It was so bad i had to stop going to the gym for three weeks at some point. Now i have no issues with my shoulders.

So there you have it... i masturbated till i crippled my left side. I cringe just saying that.

  6. it's going to take some time to heal myself- as certain actions will make it flair back up.
I did it last night attempting to develop black and white film at my house for the first time- using a method I am not used to doing.
