Discussion in 'Events & Challenges' started by Deleted Account, Apr 23, 2019.

  1. I have that ambition of mine to be a motivator. To be leader and influencer. To influence everything I touch to grow. I believe in every single one of you that you have the ability to change your reality for the better. Here the main thing is discipline and focus. Let those two words form you. No further a due, here is the challenge. Month may consists of 31 days. For those 31 days I challenge you to create a shortlist of 10 things you are going to do every single day. With the greatest focus you possess.

    Here is mine: 1. Be good to others and you. Be patient and resilient.
    2. Study Law and Deutsch.
    3. No sexual content at all.
    4. No sugar at all.
    5. Drinking nothing but water.
    6. Get up 5am, sleep 8pm.
    7. Workout.
    8. Meditate first thing in the morning.
    9. Deeper voice.
    10. Positive visualisation before sleep.

    You can write your 10 things even before the first of may. I do care if some of you take part. As much as I am doing this for me, I had that dream to write a book on fighting addiction and impose discipline, so I will be glad to have companion here. Be sure that when the first of may kicks in this is the hardest thread ever. How it is going to work? Everyday post of how much you did of your list. If you do 5 things everyday till the end you will be mediocre. If you can do 7 you will be pretty good. 8 - great. 9 or 10 you will be phenomenal. Believe that. Do not need to inform me to participate. If you have the will to be, just be here. Thank you.

  2. Great challenge! I will think of my 10 things and I will be there by May 1st!

    Sdff and Leader of ME like this.
  3. So, my list is this:
    1. Get up at 5 am, bedtime by 10-10:30 pm;
    2. Puja: self-love ritual;
    3. Meditate;
    4. Move your body (yoga/dancing/running/walking/HIIT/strength training etc.);
    5. Quit social media, media news & YouTube;
    6. Journal;
    7. Read a book;
    8. No sexual content at all and obviously no PMO + no casual sex etc.;
    9. No alcohol and coffee;
    10. Eat regularly and healthy.
    However, as I'm also on low-information diet and trying to limit screen time in general, I think I will be checking in here every other day or something like that.

    this is a blessed month from tomorrow in my religion, I am going to plan every day and I will fast daily. This month is going to the time I become one step closer to who I imagine I want to be. Before today I thought my aim was to be normal, but now i learnt the aim is to become freakishly amazing. you might like this thread @Pedro.lives. Would be good if we kept each other updated on some of the things on it.

  7. This is the beginnings of our greatness. Let's fight and stick to what we said we'd do daily, we can become the wolves of this world. You're right about the push ups & situps :D, I think I'll try start on 20 first week, 40 the next, 60 the next and I have a workout app which helped get me a 6 pack so I'll commit to that daily too. and increase by 1, 4 days a week, and 2, for the other 3 days. Let's destroy and hate how strong we're gonna be. I hate being self-disciplined and I'm gonna hate this so I have to do it no matter what.

    Love the attitude, turn that pain into power! I like watching fights on YouTube to improve my fight technique so my mind is giving me excuses to watch YouTube lol. But I’m say no!

  9. Going good so far, less bored than I thought I'd be and managed to wake up early-ish. Got a couple of things to do on the list like shower and workout but planning to do that later.

    Update...
    A week in and I am making steady progress. I've deleted all news/information feeds (I don't have any social networking). It's weird not browsing on my phone but for me that's related to my relapse problems. I have deleted movie feeds, so no browsing through doggy movie names/content. Bed time is more 11:30 but is improving. I'm reading my first book in years - treasure island, i am having warm then cold at the end showers, Iow carbs is on track, no alcohol is on track, I've increased my workouts, and not looked at any sexual content. With all of the above I'm finding it hard to be peaceable and kind to my family. Those close to me are once again feeling the brunt of me quitting this horrible addiction. Everytime I relapse into porn I get nasty toward my partner, my addiction has been on and off for years and I've gone many months and even over a year without it. I like me when I'm not in a PMO cycle. I'm nicer. So I will work hard at being peaceable and kind. Thanks @BeastBoyBalling, this challenge is great because it's giving me things to focus on this month. Things to improve on. Let's crack on with week 2. Keep going fellow challengers.
