Or is this just something that hasn't been possible with severe PIED?

According to Gary Wilson it's possible and it takes 4-5 months no pmo.

And how does he know. So many stories of people rebooting for 500-600 days to reach the goal.

You mean there are so many stories of people rebooting to 500-600 days and they're still not recovered?!

Because that what it looks like based on scouring the boards on daily basis.

    Which success stories in particular?

  8. It can take well over a year if you’re a severe case. I’m one of those.

Even if it takes 1000 days..what is the alternative you suggest?..doing pmo and make the situation even worse?!!

In my opinion, it can be possible through a balanced diet, no porn, and plenty of exercise to get them back. Patience is the key to all of this tho.

What is considered a severe case though. Someone never relapsing and PIED is still there or relapsing over a year to actually recover at some point .

Absolutely! I did it. It takes time, and a lot of discipline. You absolutely cannot be tempted to "test" things as you're getting better. It does work. I quit for several years: no masterbating, no porn. Nothing. And when I met my fiancé I rocked her world. I went from floppy sad little guy who'd never stay up with my ex, if it even got up at all, to gloriously erect. I didn't have to worry about anything...no anxiety whatsoever. I relapsed a year ago, so I can't say that my current situation is as good, but nofap does work! It will reverse what you've done to yourself!

No, I'm just saying the success stories are over-hyped.

I know, I know. I last viewed Porn on August 2017 (I started my Rebooting Journey January 2017 with only one relapse before that one). And I'm still now where near recovering.

So that me well into the 3rd year....

  16. I started to see benefits, getting super hard erections just from girl linking her arm with me... I thought I was cured and then porn became a habit again... You make a decision to watch it or cut it out forever - anywhere in between the two is a massive risk

How long did it take for your aforementioned super hard erections from linking arms?

  18. Difficult to say. My time line is a blur. I started this a few years ago. Went 30 days no PMO - and then just started watching porn again every few months. About 4 years later, I was M about 3 times a week, and porn about twice a month – then outta the blue I got rock hard from a girl I really fancied just from her touching me. It was amazing as I still felt like I had no libido at the time and that day sparked me up.

I've learned my mistakes now, over the past 4 years, I realised that I've had about 10 mini recoveries but I kept relapsing. NOT DOING IT AGAIN. Currently 40-something days in and experiencing morning wood each day, waves of having a libido, and OCD has been greatly reduced. There's nothing like a poor sexual experience to give you the drive to commit to this again haha!

Isn't that too far the other way, though? If you get a rock hard erection every time you interact with a woman, that's going to get embarrassing isn't it? I can only remember being anything like that when I was a teenager at school, and it was a problem!

  20. What I’d give to have rock hard boners every time interacting with women. After years of pied and weak erections..
