  1. There is no "nipping" a natural process in the bud, not without causing damage to yourself. The only real way that would work in order to stop wet dreams would be to stop erections happening in the night. You can do this with the aid of a chastity belt, but be prepared to suffer from erectile dysfunction later down the road. "Use it or lose it" as the saying goes.

    I don't understand this forums obsession with preventing wet dreams, the original reason most of us are here is for porn addiction. Your body isn't the problem. Pornography is.

    I understand there is energy loss from ejaculation, but that loss is considerably higher (and comes with lack of focus, irritability and a whole host of other things) when that energy is lost through pornography.

    Essentially, all I'm trying to say is, don't punish yourself for your body acting the way it is supposed to. Put your energies into moving away from addiction and dependency on unstable fantasies.

  2. I'm with @TheCrazyThingIs . I know that a wet dream loses some energy, but the amount lost, including not only energy but also protein, is roughly equivalent to at most two mouthfuls of meat or lentils.

    When semen and sperm are not ejaculated, the body has to go through the energy process of eliminating them. They are simply converted back into proteins, and eliminated through the bloodstream, kidneys and urine. There is no magic in semen and sperm that somehow enhances your "essence" when you "reabsorb" them.

    I have read carefully everything that you say, @ASABOVESOBELOW , but your only arguments are opinions based on… well, nothing. There is zero science behind what you say. I shall continue to agree with both this site and the experts, who all say that a wet dream is harmless (albeit a nuisance), unless you can show me actual evidence to the contrary.

    Okay so two days ago I tried to do some excercises in that Kundalini sex ninja book for retention and that night I had a wet dream. I didnt arouse myself during the excercises or anything just mock trial tried some. For me it seems like I am getting a wet dream at least once a week or every other week. Anything different I can do?

    It's not a natural process, any more than shivering and fatigue after heroin withdrawal are "natural processes".

    You don't need a chastity belt or any sort of nonsense, a clear mind, good diet, and good life-style are sufficient enough. The energy lost through a wet dream is close to the amount loss through any other form of ejaculation.

    If you don't have desires to fufill your true potential and reason for being on this planet (spiritual development) then this information may not be of any use to you, but if you really want to become the person you were meant to be, you really want to eliminate wet dreams.

    Try looking at your diet.

    Especially in the evenings, try to avoid warming/stimulating foods such as;

    Spicy foods/chillies
    Mustard
    Vinegar
    Red or Smoked meats
    Eggs
    Certain types of alcohol (beer is ok, Gin is the worst for wet dreams)
    Curry spices

    Sleeping on your side will greatly limit, if not completely stop your occurence of wet dreams. The Taoist/Buddhist monk method is called "Slaying the White Dragon", and involves sleeping on your left side (to support the organs better) with your legs overslapped slightly (just put one ankle over the over).

    I wouldn't do any advanced energy work exercises untill you have a foundation and are full of qi first, basic qigong/meditation is sufficient, diaphragm breathing whildst focusing on your lower dantien (2 inches below the belly button/naval) will help centre energy and eventually you can start re-directing it conciously (I've had the most intense experiences of my life focusing my qi toward my pineal gland, causing it to vibrate/tingle, heat up hugely, and then feel like it was shooting or receieving an infinite spiral vortex of white energy into infinite space).

    The physical nutrients/consituents of semen are not even 10% of the associative energy of it. It is the metaphysical aspect (that which can bring an entire new life/soul onto this plane of reality) that is of more importance.

    My arguements are based on 7,000 years of written history of the ancient Chinese, Indians, as well as the experiences of millions of human-beings from the dawn of time. The greatest men in known history were all celibates who had mastered the art of retaining and transforming their essence into higher forms (shen in Chinese), Pythagoras, Plato, Jesus, Buddha, Sir Isaac Newton, Nikola Tesla, Professor Yan Xin (not entirely sure if he has been celibate his entire life) etc...

    What are you thoughts on topics of qi energy (also known as Prana, Ether, Vrill, Orgone etc... depending on the culture) and the studies that show it's ability to influence matter/reality, beyond what is achievable even with the most complex of chemicals or technical equipment/processes?

  7. My thoughts are that the ideas are fun to play with, but historical information based on superstition is not a sound basis on which to state things as "fact".

    My personal experience with "energy" is that it can lead to healing, but is equivalent to placebo. In other words, you don't need such elaborate rituals and heavy self-denial to make the same progress. What you need is belief.

    Then sorry to say, both your personal experience and research on the subject is far too lacking to have an informed opinion on the topic.

    Check out some of these studies;

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-fSfDFgkZLIblp2TUptTl90YUk

    Professor Yan Xin is a famous qigong master from China, whom since the mid 1980's has performed hundreds of studies/experiments on qi energy, and external qi manifestation resulting in the manipulation of various physical matter, including things considered impossible such as altering the half-life of radioactive isotopes.

    He performed multiple healing sessions for former US Presidents George H.W Bush (who was still able to perform parashoot jumps in his mid 80s!), Bill Clinton, and the ex-Premiere of China, as well as performing mass qi-emitting lectures/healing sessions to tens of thousands of people at once, for upto 14 hours straight, without even a single break to go to the bath-room.

    His studies have been performed at most of the worlds most prestigious universities and institutions such as Harvard, University of High Physics Beijing, The Jet Propulsion Laboratory California, CAL-TEC, and more...

    One of Yan Xin's biggest proponents was Qian Xuesen, Nobel Prize winner, and the founder of the first Chinese nuclear weapons programme, and first Chinese space programme, having originally worked on the American nuclear weapons programme before defecting to China.

    "These experimental results (by Yan Xin) are a first in the world. They unequivocally demonstrate that without touching substances, the human body can affect them and change their molecular stuctures and properties. They are new scientific discoveries and the prelude to a scientific revolution." - Dr Qian Xuesen, Chairman of Chinese Association of Science and Technology, Co-Founder of Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California, founder of modern Chinese aerospace science, Chinese nuclear weapons programme, and Chinese space programme.

  9. I've seen articles like these before, @ASABOVESOBELOW . Whenever I investigated them further, none had been independently verified and duplicated in proper double-blind research, and some had been thoroughly debunked. Anecdotal evidence is not actual evidence — not going to the toilet for 14 hours is hardly evidence of anything other than either dehydration or wearing a nappy.

    Frankly, if such results were to be published by solid research using proper experimental methods, and then independently duplicated, it would have taken the scientific world by storm, and been widely published in the mass media.

    I'm going to bow out of this conversation now, because it's not getting anywhere. I'll read your further replies, but I'll abstain from replying.

    I gave you link to a folder full of peer-reviewed studies, done in "proper double-blind" method style, most of the studies published in highly reputable scientific journals.

    Please read what I posted before you attempt to discredit that which you haven't even spent the few seconds it takes to cursorily examine...

    Some examples from the compilation of studies by Professor Yan Xin I provided;

    1. Dont sleep facing down, the shaft will rub on the bed which will lead to ejaculation. Sleeping on the left hand side is best. The left hand should be downside.
    2. Wear loose clothes, ensure the shaft is not touching or rubbing on clothes
    3. Eat less at night time
    4. Clear your bowels and bladder before sleep
    5. Try to sleep earlier and wake up before 5. Most of the wet dream occur after 4 pm.
    6. If possible try to wake up at before ejaculation. (Very hard)
    7. I used set alarm 4 am, wake up, pee, wash using cold water. Back to sleep...

    Fight the fantasies as best you can during the day. Pushing that stuff. It's just healthier in general and helps sustain the viability of your abstainces, but it also helps reduce wet dreams as well, at least for me.

    But on a more serious vein, though, I get in the practice of noting and negating sexual thoughts. Sometimes I tell myself "blank" when I have a sexual thought and I blank it out. Or I say to myself the word "nothing" and make the thought nothing and vanish.

    I'm not sure for other people, but when I get in the practice of doing it enough, I'll even do it during dreams, and am able to note and delete sexual dreams as well. Takes a lot of consistency.

    I also try to tell myself "Zero fantasize" during those moments. But during dreams... Very hard :) (again)
