I quit porn 2 month ago when I read about the spiritual aspects of watching porn.
Although I have never relapsed since then, I miss the feeling of novelty that porn gave me... I mean, I am very aware that there was a strong reason in my decision to quit porn and among other things, it didn't give me real satisfaction.

But there is something deep in us, that porn did us. It gave us this "novelty", all the seemingly available horny women wanting sex...

I am very aware that I was the one who got tired and sick with this pornography.
And I also see the results after quitting porn. I am much more alive and better.
Only when I think that porn is at a click distance... this turns me on.

I have never liked hardcore porn although I watched some scenes out of curiosity.

So, what I mean: I am lonely, a few friends I rarely interact with, no women in my life. But this is not the problem. The problem is that I simply miss that feeling of novelty.

It's such a shame that porn is available everywhere. It should not be so. It should be paid and hidden from children. This is a shame of our western civilization and it's much worse than prostitution.

The only thing that can keep truly us clean and make improve our lives is religion.
And I am not even a Christian.

Anyway, what I want to say: Don't give up. That "novelty" is not worth spending our precious energy. It's simply like a drug.

I will be straightforward with you: What I miss is seeing a woman's naked body having sex...

What you want to tell us is that you want to watch pornography even when you know it is bad for you? I suppose that happens to all the starters I suppose. In my opinion the best thing to keep you away from it and improve is yourself, have a strong will and become a better you.

Actually I was more subtle. I was trying to talk about the psychology of pornography and how it impacts us.

That “novelty” is doing damage to your brain, when you sit down and get addiction, you jump from one porn genre to the next, you condition your self to only get erect to things on a computer screen. This is how PIED develops in many men today, porn induced erectile dysfunction.

I agree it’s a shame that porn is so readily available at the click of a finger, it’s how I got hooked as a 12 year old in my room with my computer, I’m 26 now but I’m healed and rebooted but I continue to frequent this site to give support to others and as a tool for me to never forget and never slip up again.

If I have a kid one day, especially a boy there will be no computer in his room and no smart phones either because I don’t want him to go down a road I did.

I don't want to be sarcastic but that is not subtle.
