I am new to this site and heard of it when I "relapse" 3 times last week by watching porn. I am grateful that I found this place and it has given me the courage once again to believe that Porn has no power over me and I believe this site will be a tool to my freedom from porn.

I was molested when I was 8 years old. This led to deep roots of insecurity and lust. From molestation led to porn, unhealthy relationships and produced an addiction to lust and perversion.

I gave my life to Jesus Christ when I was 18 years old. I am 32 and still I am fighting this battle with porn. I have (thank God for it) 2 accountability partners who have been with me in this journey of being free from porn. I see that I can gain more accountability with this site and the great resources and people I see and hear that brings me hope and encouragement.

I don't know what to expect from this, would like to be consistent in being accountable and track my progress with NOFAP, but I can say by just finding out about this community it has brought hope again that I am powerful and porn has no power over me.

  2. You have the power of the presence of God. Your awareness of his presence can help you avoid temptations when they come.

    Hello there,

The battle against porn can take a LONG time to start gaining serious victories. For me I fought seriously for 5 years before I did 3 months with no PMO or p-subs. That’s a lot of “failure” to fight through. But I keep adding tools to my arsenal and this website was one of them. I know that God Himself gave me these tools and key leaders in my life. I will complete 2 years without P or p-subs in January, and that is mostly from God, a couple good men to help walk with me in my journey, and being honest with my new wife about it.

Can’t wait to see how your story unfolds.

Thank you so much for your encouragement. Thank you for reminding about God's presence and in His presence I'm lost in Him and porn doesn't exist to me. It helps me see more too that the more time spent in His presence, the less the temptation is. Thank you so much

Wow thank you so much for your words of encouragement! 2 years! that is AWESOME! Congrats and that is so inspiring. Thank you for your insight, wisdom and encouragement. Can I ask you a question? How has your wife respond or react in your moments of temptation?

    Hey MOB123,

Its always said to me your first victory is found with your honesty and confession. Your honesty to just say your mind is overwhelmed by porn tells me your a strong person and you can do this. You can conquer porn and porn doesn't control your thoughts. I hope you this place show you (and me) that we can do this, be free from porn, not allowing it to control our thought life. I pray MOB123 that you begin to see better days ahead of you where you can see for your self that porn has no power over you.

  10. Your Welcome

  11. Thank you Jesus5King, I appreciate your empowerment and advice. There is so many things that i am going through. Porn addiction and also recently i had caused trauma to my penis due to extreme sex with my GF thanks to porn. I did not fracture it but now i have ED. I have an appointment with an urologist and i am scared i might have permanently damaged my penis.

  12. I am literally contemplating suicide if there is no fix to this. I don't want to further explain my situation because it will just be OFF topic.

I'm believing you will get a good report MOB123 that everything is fine and your gonna be ok. Be strong and don't allow any discouragement to lead you back to temptation.

One day at a time...you can do this.
