PIED/Performance Anxiety or something worse (Venous Leak)

Been on the nofap journey for 8 months now! Longest streak was 100 days, am currently on 35 days. I initially started as I suspected I had PIED (many times I had a girl in bed but a combination of nerves and PIED meant I never got hard - felt completely numb down there and no signs of arousal). Reading all the posts on here I was convinced all my issues were porn induced and jumped right in.

These are the changes I made:
    No porn in 6 months
Cut down on video games, TV shows
    Eliminated marijuana and other drugs
    Reduced alcohol
Exercise (cardio) regularly and trying to eat well
    Meditate (quite irregularly though)

In that time I have had the chance to have sex again, but that was towards the start and never worked out. I have felt subtle changes - more energy, less cravings for porn and video games, sporadic morning wood and occasional wet dreams. Social anxiety, nerves, low motivation and low libido are still an issue however. I even got my blood tested and all came back normal (testosterone was actually above the normal range)

My issue is I still don't feel cured. The only time I think I'm close to even 80% hard is morning wood. The rest of the time when I have random erections its more just enlarged but still flaccid and soft and they go down very quickly (within 30 seconds). At what point should I start looking for other causes. I heard about venous leakage and the symptoms match mine exactly - particularly the inability to maintain an erection for long. This terrifies me. Has anyone had experience with this diagnosis? I'm scared that some masturbatory practices I did when I was younger (death grip, jelqing, no lube) have physically destroyed my penis. I'm close to booking an appointment with mt doctor to try and get it tested. What would you advise?

  2. Hey I'm having similar problems, just writing so I can see what others say about their experiences

  3. Have you been with a girl lately? Especially near the end of that 100 day streak? Some guys report that they don't really feel the libido until there is an actual chance to use it.

I have been with girls lately. Sometimes I got a semi when I was making out with them and once or twice came in my pants from friction while not fully hard. Tried the blue pill but that just made me flaccid hard this weekend and wasn't able to penetrate. I do feel bits of arousal but I'm so depressed that I am sure if my dick isnt working for physical or mental reasons. I'm not sure whether to try masturbate to see if it responds. Need some help!

  5. 35 days is not that much if you PMO'd much right before that (thereby undoing much previous progress).

How about "the porn test"? If your dick was getting/staying hard for porn, it's not a physical problem.

That's what scares me the most. For the last few years most of the time I was watching porn I still had to "concentrate" to maintain an erection or have constant stimulation. This may have been going on for many years but the change was so gradual that I didn't notice it. Even now my morning wood lasts a few seconds. I'm really worried I have a physical problem

I would be interested to know for a normal healthy male, how long is an erection meant to last with no physical or mental stimulation?

Have you noticed any erectile changes or improvements? If you're getting some improvements in morning wood, then I think your problem is PMO or porn induced rather than physical?

I am getting more morning wood but it's very sporadic and as I said it doesn't last very long. I also have a wet dream once in a while. As I said I don't think my issue is blood entering my p, it's the staying in part and that makes me think it's a venous leak

I see....hmm. Did you have any point when your morning wood wasn't there? Maybe that's a sign now that you're getting it again, that you're healing? I dunno, just trying to help.

Yeah when I was pmo it was very rare. It is quite sporadic and doesn't feel very strong but I want to hope/believe it's because im still recovering. For ease of my mind I am going to see a urologist. Already had my T levels checked and they were fine. I'm sure the doctor would have a test that would point to the problem being mental or physical

Has anyone ever had a Doppler ultrasound test done? Thinking of having that done at the very least it will identify if there is a physical problem. Thoughts on whether it's worth about £500? I have read that they can misdiagnose sometimes as well so not too sure

I was thinking of doing the same thing mate but that was before I knew about PIED. Im on day 16 tomorrow and in the last 2 weeks I have had morning wood so im taking that as a good sign and just going to keep going with it until I see some more results. I wouldn't stress too much, I know its hard because I did aswell but im just going with it now until some more signs pop up. Ive never gone this long without fapping in my life. I had T tested aswell and all was good so I don't think it would be a physical thing mate, how long did you PMO for? I was 10 years so its a long time before I knew what damage it can do :(

First 2 weeks of reboot are usually like that - you still don't see anything negative. Usually after week 2 up until week 6, there's a steady flatline period which is something that discourages some. But when you know it's nothing uncommon it shouldn't scare you. Know that going through this for an extended period of time is going to have huge benefit for you so that should keep you going everyday!

@jaigao, bhai, you should look out for indian supplements from ayurveda and if not that then at least go for speciic yoga postures and 2 really powerful things that will definiely elp you
    1. saffron, 2-3 soaked in water everyday inthe morning
    2. daily take crushed garlic cloves with lots of water the first thing in the morning.
