    I still do MO anywhere from 1-2 a week to every couple of weeks. But still no porn. I can't really tell if it's pied, probably not major I'm sure I'm I'd still be able to have sex if tried, though I haven't been able to try since girls don't like me. Even if they did, I am waiting till marriage. But still it's not like it used to be, I'm not sure if just that I'm 30 and even a normal person isn't just like it used to be. I'm also on SSRIs which I'm slowly coming off of them. Not sure if it's partly because of that. Has anyone else fully come off ssris and tried nofap still having pied problems. Also could belly fat cause pied like problems, I'm not obese but I"m about 38 inch around the waist that I'm trying to get rid of, could that cause part of the problem too?

    Porn is detrimental, but so is masturbation.

    And SSRIs don't work for a lot of people. They actually can fuck you up more and make you feel like shit.

    That's why I'm trying to get off of them. I already went from..
    Trazodone 150mg -> 0mg
    Wellbutrin 300mg a day - > 0 mg
    Fluoxetine 60mg -> 40 mg
    ...in about a year and half.

    So could the MO still be causing problem?

  8. Hell yes! :)
    You're not 'having sex' you're creating a fantasy in your mind and stimulating yourself.
    It could be that stimulation is to fulfill another unmet need and it manifests itself.
    It's like someone who eats for 'comfort' and not nourishment.
    You could be 'playing back' old porn stimuli - fantasy is porn's back up drives!

    Nice progress on the no P. I'm in the opposite circumstance, I don't do MO!

    You have got to stop releasing your semen RIGHT NOW dude. This is nothing to be ashamed or apprehensive about, but you are relinquishing trace minerals through MO that are hard to get off of a western diet. I recommend that you take a multivitamin, etc. Go two weeks without release (including nightfall, I'm starting to believe the loss of this is more than we are led to believe), and I assure you that you will feel AMAZING. Also, do just 15, literally just 15, minutes of high intensity training, like burpees, sprints, etc. Best wishes on your recovery brah.

    I was actually thinking about women that I know in real life, but yeah I have had dreams about porn or wanting to back to porn.

    Not everyone falls into this category, but for some, hard mode (no P, M or O) is the only option to see full recovery. For me personally I’ve been addicted to masturbation for at least 16 years, and have been looking at porn/fetish clips for nearly 12 of those years. I had successfully cut out porn a few years ago but was still masturbating daily, and noticed absolutely no benefits whatsoever. I realize now it’s because masturbation is nearly as big an issue for hardcore addicts as porn is. The main issue is dopamine. If you’re masturbating, you’re still flooding your brain with dopamine and reinforcing your brain’s lust for fantasy rather than real life contact with another woman. I don’t care what anyone says, both are harmful and both should be stopped to see the full benefits of NoFap. For some, even abstaining from orgasm from sex for an extended period of time may be necessary in order for the brain to fully reboot and rewire itself. I know it is the case for me...

    Thanks for your response man! Just want to let you know that this kind of is highly appreciated. Do you think that PMOing for that long had any physiological effects, like height and bone density? Been doing some research into this lately, be would like to hear about the experiences of others. At any rate, thanks in advance for your time,and take care this week!

    I don’t have the scientific expertise to determine for sure if there are physiological side effects of MOing that long, but frankly I wouldn’t doubt it. I have heard numerous people complain of back pain and poor vision (which I have experienced) as well as a myriad of other symptoms from fapping for a number of years extensively, and I also am aware that semen houses many minerals and nutrients your body needs to keep your vitality in peak condition, so I would assume the latter describes why these symptoms appear after too much ejaculation.

  14. I understand, and given the choice it's better than pornography based ones, but it's still not actual contact with a human being - it's an 'image' of those women so it's different from sex IMOP.

  15. Have you checked out the yourbrainonporn site? lots of good info there. Most studies focus on the effects on the mind -but I would say that long standing tradition is worthy of respecting - that it does drain you - at the very least, you're sapping yourself of mental energy and it might lead to less workouts, nutrient deprivation, apathy, which could lead to physical effects.

    I can understand, i'm on day 104, and in this time i had only two weeks where i felt good.
    The rest of time was more or less shit, from day 98 to now i'm probably in the worst period.

    That's what we have to go through, i think that the minimum objective of no pmo must be at least 6 month, a year is probably better.

    Hey man. My doctor advised me to take some fluoxetine while I'm on my reboot for depression and withdrawal symptoms. How have they treated you? Do they help?

    They helped me when I was at my worst, apparently the meds originally made to someone past a hard time while learning the coping skills to deal with the problem. But the problem is just ended being something people usually ended up staying on for life.

    Masturbation isn't unhealthy In itself, but personal factors can alter the effect it can have. Don't take my word for it, but maybe the MO reinforces the problems and so maybe take time away from MO without resetting your streak to see if MO does have any effect. Other than that, it could be the usual explanation which is the idea that it takes different amounts of time for anyone individual to experience benefits. It's typically 90 but it can always differ and that's okay.
