See yourself in a third perspective. Watch who you are through someone else's eyes. A person getting off to watching other people having sex... doing that once or twice a day, or one a week? A person with social anxiety?
Do you like what you see?
Never stop working on yourself until you like what you see, then go beyond that!

Nofap will be easy once we realise it's not a chore. The nofap lifestyle is a blessing.

Nofap is like opening a door to all of your opportunities and happiness... it's not like washing the dishes or going to see the dentist.
LOVE NOFAP AND NOFAP WILL LOVE YOU!

Compare yourself to yourself. Do not compare yourself to the opinions of others.

You don't loose your progress after one relapse. The first time triggers the addiction but it's the second and third that actually ruins your progress.

Never feel bad for relapsing. Feel bad for relapsing twice.

If you are not committed enough in changing your life to nofap to even cut your hair super short then are you even committed at all?

Yesterday, I had long hair, people had called me Clark Kent before as it was long, dark brown, hair that naturally fell to one side like Superman's. Today, I felt like change and I went for a no.1 all over.
    New hair, new me.
We must change ourselves into people who are not going to relapse and are not addicted to pmo.

Don't find God. Don't find hope. Don't find love. Don't find pleasure. Don't find comfort. Don't find motivation. Don't find nofap.

Find yourself. Find you. Find who you really are. Find comfort in nothing but your inner self. After you have found yourself, everything else will find you.

  9. This is so me at the gym, especially in a class. The first class I showed up for, I was too slow at finding a place at the back, so I ended up being front and centre. Turns out, even though my timing was out, it was exactly what I needed. Now I'm always at the front, looking like a middle-aged guy lifting a bar more than his arms can handle. It also makes it easier if the women in the class are perving at my behind rather than worrying whether I'm perving at theirs.

Still at the confidence stage, but showing up to the gym willing to look like a prize goose isn't as painful as I was fearing. Sure, I'll never be ripped like the jacked young guys, and I'm having to look VERY hard to notice changes, but everyone else there is seeing them. *shrugs*

    Ask yourself:
How would the person I would like to be, do the things I am about to do?

What are you going to do TODAY to change yourself for TOMORROW?

Envision the perfect version of yourself that one day, you wish you will become. Now ask yourself, how are you going to get there?

Don't throw you time away - if you are bored, on your computer not really doing a lot then just get on the floor and do push ups. Just do push ups. It doesn't matter how many you do but just keep doing them until you are no longer bored.

Don't be the reason someone feels insecure, be the reason someone feels seen, heard and supported.
Generally, be a good person because we need more of that in the world.

Don't get caught up on your number. Enjoy your time doing nofap and feel the benefits coming your way. If you stare at the clock, time goes more slowly and you end up not doing anything with that time.

  15. Okay, at the risk of being a bitter husk - what benefits? No, seriously... where are they? I feel at best marginally better, and while my physical health has probably improved, that is due to diet and exercise, which whilst started due to NoFap, are completely removed from it. I'm still pondscum. I'm still invisible. Nothing in my life has improved, and I'm a fuckload more uptight and anxious now than I was 100 days ago (actually longer - I'd done 59 before a relapse where I reset my counter). My opinion of women has actually diminished over that time, and I'm reconsidering life choices I should have enacted decades ago.

In other words, I'm no better than 13 year old me (although 13 year old me didn't masturbate).

So, yeah, don't caught up on the number, but don't expect your progress to mean anything either.

I feel like you might have looked at nofap as something that improves your life and changes you, but this is not so.
Nofap is a cure for an unhealthy addiction. Many of us spend days watching porn, in our bedrooms alone. When we stop watching it, it's not necessarily the lack of porn that's improving our social skills but because we are spending our time more wisely, going out and socialising.
I don't really like going into peoples specific cases and like to use metaphors for everyone to understand and get something from.

If you are still facing the problems you faced whilst watching porn then that tells me one thing. You have quit porn (congratulations, that's huge), however, you haven't been spending your porn free time more productively.

A person quits cigarettes - are they instantly a better person in every way or does the person have to go out and do stuff in order to improve.
Everyone can abstain from anything if they have a strong enough will against it. The self improvement has to come from you.

    Things you can do:
    - Join a club or society.
    - Get out there and talk to people. Most people just stand and wait whilst the shop assistant scans their items - why not ask about their day etc?
    - Set social challenges. Meet with friends every day for 2 weeks. Talk to 1 stranger every day.
    - So much more

Please don't blame nofap for something it is not. All it is, is a place to say "I'm addicted". There are no miracles involved.
At an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting you see in the movies, what do they talk about? - other than the main characters and side characters sad story
They talk about their day, the things they have done to improve themselves, etc. Not just say - "wow, it's day 5 now... not sure if I am feeling the benefits coming"... the leader would respond with "and what did you do to get these benefits coming to you?"

PMO is a chain that is attached to a spot on the ground and whilst attached to the chain, you can get high when ever you want it.
The issue is that you cannot get far from the chain before coming back from your high.
There is so much stuff to enjoy once your off the chain.

Are you going to become the man/woman you want to be tomorrow? Realistically, no. You won't.

Become the man/woman that you want to be tomorrow, today.
