Is being attracted to teenage girls a result of PMO or is it human nature??

hey all, so one of my current mental obsessions (which has been with me for a long time!) has to do with teen girls. I know it’s a taboo topic, but I’m wondering if everyone thinks like I do, or if somehow all the barely legal genre of porn has caused me/us to find teens attractive.

Without going too deepe into this I’ll just say, teen girls are old enough for childbirth (not that they should), and the legal age in America has changed over the years, so guilt caused by age is strange cuz of this. Also, I’ve seen 18yo who look 14 and 14yo who look 20, so I’m like wtf!

Another thing is girls are dressing in skimpy clothing and often in clothing that adults wouldn’t wear because it’s too revealing. So the people showing the most skin during summer are generally teens. And our society values young, pretty girls as the go-to for modeling ads (the average model Is somewhere around 15-16?)

So I’m curious is this is something normal or if I should feel like the worst sick pervert in the world and try to fix my mind??? Anyone older, who can help me out?

  2. I think it's naturally normal because we are men and we are visually sexually motivated, but society does not like it, because we have to protect the younger, which it makes sense. What is not normal is to have obsessive sexual thoughts and fantasies. It does not matter if you fantasize about teens, Milfs, Asians, tall, skinny, blond whatever. If you are having too many sexual fantasies that's because of the volume, type and frequency pornography that you are consuming. Porn will put thoughts in your head that is not normal to have if you were not a porn addict.

Thanks, I’m wondering because I’m doing my 4th step for SAA and lots of memories current and old are related to this. Even today a girl walked by my house while I was outside putting on my new car registration.

She had super tight spandex leggings and showed every curve. I was turned on. I know I was overly turned on compared to a normal person and this is from my years of porn addiction. But I’m curious if it is even normal to be turned on by a teenager? She was probably 15-16yo

    Any More thoughts?

  4. It depends which teenage girls.

It is perfectly natural to be attracted to teenage girls who have developed - they are approaching, or in, their sexual prime, whether they are legal or not. They have "markers" of fertility that men naturally are attracted to. (For example, there is a "golden ratio" of hip size to waist size that men of all cultures are attracted to - even blind men!)

But that causes some confusion, because there are girls who are quite developed at 13 or 14. They don't look like little girls, even though legally, and possibly emotionally, they are. Finding them attractive may be natural, but it is a bad idea to dwell on those particular girls, for sure.

A further issue is that feminists like to shame men for attraction to fit, young, good looking women - mostly because so many feminists are hideous - but also because feminists hate men and love being able to shame them for something that is utterly innate and natural.

And let me say this: a girl who is 'barely legal' is legal. Legal! SHE IS LEGAL! SHE CAN'T BE BARELY LEGAL UNLESS SHE IS LEGAL!!!!!

Being attracted to prepubescent girls, on the other hand, is obviously wrong, and porn showing them is illegal for good reason.

32 years old, but I’ve been attracted to developed teens since before I was a teen :) and the older I get I don’t magically start to only find my age attractive.

Thanks dude. Yea definitely prepubescent girls is wrong and not what I’m talking about here. I’m just trying to understand my mental lust and at what point it has balanced out to normal vs still sick. So if it’s normal to find developing-developed teenage girls who wear skimpy clothing attractive, then I’ll know that I’m doin ok and not severely f*cked up still.

I definitely have strong urges overall and knownim not outnof the woods yet, just looking to find out normal so I know what to shoot for in terms of my natural, healthy thoughts vs sick ones.

I should also say that actively seeking out a 15-16yo to sleep with irl is wrong IMO (and illegal) and if I were doing that I would classify that is in appropriate behavior that would need help to try and fix. So not talking about that either; not crossing those boundaries. Just the thoughts of finding someone that age potentially attractive depending on the person.

Well I am exactly like u in these sexual obsession thoughts, that being said every sexual human being has certain preferences that they gravitate to in attraction, some focus on body parts, milfs, tight clothes, trans porn, cuckold porn, and obviously barely legal porn.

Whether it’s openly admitted or not themes around a flawless body, fresh, clean, full of sexual allure gravitates more towards the teenage body and a teenage female fitting that description will effect any red blooded hetrosexual man in one way or another. This is why the number one demand of the porn industry is barely legal porn. How many porn sites have been visited that have vids with the words “teen” and “barely legal” slapped on them? We all know these pornstars are in their mid twenties but are made to look and act like 18yr olds because that’s what sells.

As for ur scenario I think many men would do the same as u do. A teenager walks by you in leggings or spandex and you look a few glances but not enough to feel like u are coming across as a pervert then maybe u take that image for one or more masterbation sessions. I know if u tell anyone for advice their job is to tell u are a pedophile sex pervert but honestly I think it is normal in the look but don’t touch department.

Thanks for the advice. As of right now I’m not fantasizing about anyone really, in terms of PMO or anything. I’m hard mode for 57 days so far.

It’s the thoughts currently out of my control. Whether it’s a 35 year old women in a sexy business outfit, or a 15yo in leggings And a mid drift top, I am definitely over sexualizing them and am doing loads of work to help fix this and make my urges more normal (whether 35 or 15yo).

My question is related to when my sexual desires do become normalized, over time... will it be considered normal to still find someone of that age attractive (not be overly horny by it, but recognize their beauty in a healthy way, as I will eventually be able to do with the 35yo).

I’m trying to find the healthy cutoff line so when automatic thoughts pop up I’ll know to say to myself “that’s normal” vs “youre still f*cked up.” Make sense?

I’m not trying to dwell on it or fantasize or use it later for spark bank material. My hope is to never use a 15yo (OR ANYONE!) In that way ever again. Just looking for clarity on the imaginary moral line.

Not the answer your gonna like but yes I would. To think that an attractive teenage girl walking around in spandex isn’t going to get second looks by men is burying ur head in the sand.

It depends on how old you are too. In Illinois an adult can have sex with a juvenile if they are within 5 years of age, and it is not rape. When I was 25 I worked with a 16 year old girl who asked me to take her virginity. I had to refuse because of her age. Also, she only wanted to hook up with me because I was less attractive than her boyfriend (but not too ugly) and she didn't really like me, which made me more disposable after. I was very attracted to her, though, because she had a beautiful face and a great body due to her young age.

It is not wrong to be attracted to someone who is much younger than you. It is illegal to hook up with a teenager if you are much older, but looking isn't touching. Just the same, I would avoid getting involved with a teenager because there is going to be a lot of drama involved. So basically, sex is probably a crime, and looking might be objectification, but there is nothing wrong with feeling attracted to a younger person of the opposite sex.

When ur an adult maybe u will grasp reality versus what should be. A man who thinks a female attractive is not going to stop thinking that if he is shown proof she is 16 or 17. It doesn’t work that way. All that will happen is the man will be more cautious with his glances or conversations but it’s not going to change his thinking

  12. We're talking about looking at them. Not screwing them. They'll live, I'm sure.

For our own good, and their dignity, the looking should not be long-lived - whatever the age. I try to use a 3 second rule.

But good-looking developed women in Spandex - whatever the age - will get looked at. It happens millions of times a day, and nobody dies.

Whether u agree or not women and young females dress to be looked at. Some may dress ways in order to impress or attract a certain person or people but they can’t control who does or doesn’t look their way

  14. I think that's it's normal to notice curves on a female regardless of her age. It's what you do after noticing that can be a problem. If you find that you're crawling out of your skin with desire and getting stuck on the thought of that person for the entire day, then I'd say that your porn brain has hijacked your thoughts. Other than that, it's pretty safe to say that we're never gonna stop noticing. Attractive is attractive, and there's no denying that.

Thanks for this. Yea...as of right now at 58 days sober, my thoughts are still hijacked by my porn brain. I don’t expect anything different, yet. 20+ years of porn brain won’t be corrected this quickly. I do think it’s a bit better than it was though.

Good to hear from so many people that the simple thought of “attractive” isn’t caused by porn brain, but the obsession is (which for me applies to anyone who is hot, not just teens).

As I’ve mentioned, (due to the ever popular Barley legal porn genre), I think I have an exaggerated attraction to younger women compared to my age range, and I hope this might shrink and even-out the longer I’m sober.

Any more advice or opinions on this topic?

I feel you my man, I was in the metro the other day and I saw a girl that was unbelievably hot. She was hotter than 90% of the women I've ever seen in my life, pornstars included. She had really tight jeans, but apart from that she was dressed rather normally. A lot of times you can't guess what age they would be from looking at their faces (because their features also fully matured), but in this situation she was probably around 16. I was really attracted to her for 2 seconds or so until I started contemplating how the actual fuck is that even possible. It was actually funny, any form of sexual attraction instantly disappeared because I couldn't believe my eyes, I really couldn't. I don't know what's happening with these younger generations that makes them mature so early. I'm only 21, I'm not old and it's not like the girls in my generation were guys with long hair and squeaky voices, but it was nowhere near what I described.

  17. We are responsible for our actions, you can think all kinds of crazy stuff, people are different, cultures are different and we all have different life experiences but appreciating the beauty of females of all ages isn't wrong, it's whether or not you sexualise those thoughts and if you act on them. The vast majority of people have enough common sense and self respect and respect for others to not act on these thoughts even if some of them might be inappropriate or confusing.

I think it's something that should be spoken about more often, we've all been attracted to teenagers at at least one point in our lives ie: when we were teenagers ourselves! we've probably had crushes on girls at school in the year above us. heck I had my first crush on a girl when i was like 10, but at that age there is a certain level of innocence in that because you are still exploring what it's like to talk to girls. I think there's a certain age when boys start to become interested in girls, for some it can be quite young but generally when we are little guys we put signs up like 'no girls allowed' or we might make fun of one of our friends because he plays with girls etc, there's a point where that stops generally during puberty and girls suddenly become really exciting. These days though as a 34 year old male although I might find someone who is in their mid to late teens attractive or beautiful, personally i prefer older women when it comes down to things like dating and relationships.

I would say from personal experience, stay well away from this so called 'barely legal' porn because the sentiment that goes along with that is a premise that toys with the idea of moving towards illegal content. If you stop for a moment and look at the narratives on these barely legal sites they are extremely abusive and lend themselves to the language of people who groom children, for example things like 'baby sitter' 'daddys girl' 'naughty uncle' but they get away with it because the focus is generally on the younger person ie: the barely legal person being some kind of bad influence on the older person or wanting to be 'taught' about certain things. all of these are abuse narratives but disguised under the banner of teen porn. In my opinion it should be illegal.

If you don't believe me, read the book 'Porn land. How porn has hijacked our sexuality' by Gail Dines or 'Media and The sexualisation of childhood' by Barrie Gunter

Yes, puberty is a much more important factor than age. Nature knows nothing of our invented concept of legal age. If a girl/woman is past puberty, men will be attracted to her regardless of her age. I've heard people call other people pedophiles for being attracted to a 16 year old girl and that is simply inaccurate. A pedophile is attracted to prepubescent children, so being attracted to a 16 year old who is past puberty doesn't make you a pedophile.

And, of course, I have to point out that just because something is "natural" doesn't make it morally right. So although I am saying that is natural to be attracted to teenagers who are past puberty, I am against having sex with them from an ethical standpoint. Legal age is a social construct, but it's a bloody good one.

    I totally agree.

I kinda think this is what sobriety is about. Some things are attractive to us, but not being consumed by them and not acting out sexually because of them is what makes us have a “normal” sex drive, I’m thinking. This is what my goal is.

The fear factor gets played a lot with this topic. Nobody talks about the reality of things . If u say something wrong your a racist or masochist, woman hater, white supremacist, pedophile etc.... these thoughts get ingrained into the public and give a media platform to those few who point fingers making it look like that’s the worlds actual opinion and anyone who stands to defend those mos beliefs are bashed down so the actual majority stays silent in fear of being labeled themselves
