How can I block porn on my Android phone?

    I'm having an extremely hard time dealing with my porn addiction at the moment, so I had to resort to installing K9 on both of my computers. However, this didn't solve the problem since I can still access porn on my mobile phone... I saw there was a K9 version for Android, but unfortunately it isn't compatible with my Samsung Galaxy Ace. Does anybody know any apps that could work?

    I figure if I could delete the Google Search app that would pretty much be it, but I don't know how to do that...

    Would really appreciate any help guys.

    PS: Managed to delete Google Search! (if you're having the same problem I was having you can PM me and I'll tell you how I did it) Hope this will keep me away from porn now.

    Hi Zacharie. There are a few web filter apps now available for Android. You can find them on the Play store by doing a simple search, then scrolling down to "find similar apps". However, having dealt with most of them, I can tell you that if you are even a little tech-savvy you can easily defeat most of them.

    I myself was most recently using the net nanny app for android. It worked well because I can set up a schedule for times of the day when access would be completely blocked. They did charge a yearly fee but I felt it was worth it.

    If I may though, be careful not to get so caught up in trying to block access with the filters that you forget to work on the most important part, your inner-self.

    It may sound drastic, but I got rid of the traditional smartphone myself.

    you can download the Comvigo browser, it has a porn filter, give someone else the password for it and have them disable access to the basic web browser that comes with the phone. This way the only browser you can use in the Comvigo one.

    seemed to have worked for me so far
