A big number of you wrote in this site that Meditation helps a LOT to find your inner peace and clear your mind, and fade away unwanted thoughts and fetishes...

I'm glad to hear some experienced "meditators" to tell how it helps for them.

    Thanks a lot! :)

It makes me become more self aware of my thoughts, and how many useless thoughts I really have, and how my thoughts don't define who I am.

It also builds your willpower, which really comes in handy on nofap.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask away.

I have a specific way of meditating that helps me overcome stress. I focus first on relaxing and then clearing my head of any thoughts. It's not easy to do that. Trying going for at least 5 seconds without a conscious thought.

So why does this help? Think of it as exercise for the conscious over the subconscious. Your conscious mind is controlling the thoughts instead of your random desires... BAM! Want to get rid of urges and temptations. It happens with control of your thoughts and the battlefield is between the ears. Learning how to shut down the noise when my brain is screaming "DOPAMINE or I'm gonna DIE HERE!!!" Then I respond with '''sssssss....you're okay, get a drink of water and go bad to bed"

Holy crap! Trying to stop the noise in my head is like trying to lift a boulder. I stop thinking and I think " okay. I've stopped thinking." " oops that was a thought." " I'm quiet now." " nope. Still thinking." imagine that going through your head.

  5. We need to understand that because we are dealing with sexual energy here, normal meditation is not going to cut it long term. The key is to actually balance and transmute the sexual energy and we do this through chakra meditation.

While in meditation, allow yourself to transmute that built up sexual energy and transmute it through your spine and into the brain. I've been doing this a lot and it really works. Even as I am typing this now, I can feel the energy coursing through my brain, as if I were having a "brain orgasm". It's like an electric buzz.

I try to do this every morning, as that is when I feel my energy needs balancing, because while we are asleep, we experience all kinds of things that most of the time we do not remember, including sexual experiences.

As you meditate, focus your sexual energy with your intentions up through your brain.

To be honest with you, it has turned into a 24/7 lifestyle. I know I'm only on day 5 here, but so far I've had no sexual thoughts, no urges whatsoever. I'm conscious of testosterone spikes at all times and I am able to transmute the energy into the brain straight away and store it there. You can do this 24/7. As soon as I feel an urge is about to come, my inner self says "Nope", and literally right there and then I am able to let it rise to the brain where it will be more beneficial.
It is about being conscious of yourself and your state at all times. Allow yourself to be one with your body in every moment. Every moment I am rewiring myself with my thoughts and intentions. Instead of letting my mind drift towards sexual things, I think on how much I actually do desire for myself to be fully rewired, and then my mind begins to act accordingly. You have to really desire to be rewired. Focus your intention on that 24/7 and you'll realise that your rebooting process happens faster. It's about our intentions as well.

Sexual transmutation is not about sitting down doing nothing. We have to engage our body and intentions into the process as well. Right now, I cannot even see myself ever going back to day 1. I feel absolutely no desire to.

Thanks for the experiences.... what do you think, could it help to fade away HOCD thoughts?

  9. Yeah. It is engaging your entire being into the process, mind, body and soul.

Most people on nofap are only trying to use their mind to resist temptation. If we really learn to sexual transmute, which involves soul and body as well, you wont need cold showers, porn blockers or external things like this. We can learn to master our sexuality through transmutation.

  10. With HOCD, all you need to do is just allow the emotions to have it's way within you. HOCD is basically an illusion. You're just holding onto an emotion. It's all fear based. Fear just needs to be released from the body. Identify what the issue is. Allow your body to feel the fear of being homosexual. Let your body experience that possibility of being homosexual even if you are 100% straight.

The idea here is to face the emotion, face what you are afraid of by actually just being one with the emotion, and then it will exit your body.

What is fear? F.E.A.R = False Expectations Appearing Real.

HOCD is not real. It is just fear that you need to allow yourself to feel and let it exit your body. That is honestly all you have to do. The more you fear being gay, the more "HOCD" will dominate your life. Just be one with the emotion and let it pass through you.

Meditation was a complete life changer for me. The gratitude I feel for having discovered the practice is huge.

I started really small with around ten minutes a day few years ago. Being very on/off and struggling a great deal. I was not a natural mediator.

I now do two hours of Zazen (zen seated meditation) every morning. I feel it adds so much to my life.

I am hoping NoFap and semen retention will be my second great life discovery.

@AlltheRageBackHome thanks for the tips...But it's not a "one day project", is it? It needs more time to overcome it, I think...

  13. Processing an emotion is all down to you my friend. How long it takes is your choice. It can take a day, or it can take two months. It really depends on the person and how deep the fear is rooted. It's up to you in regards to how long you want to hold onto the emotion of the fear.

Bigger emotions do generally take longer, yes. It's up to you, though.

Try this video. Focusing on the breath alone does help to quieten your thoughts.
