A Technique for Aiding Unwanted Erections, Blue Balls and Wet Dreams

Discussion in 'Rebooting - Porn Addiction Recovery' started by SolidStance, Dec 11, 2015.

  1. Upon pressure in testicles—blue balls—or unwanted erections, perform this technique right away. For wet dream prevention, perform it every day before bed.

Sit down and sit up straight, spine straight, do not lie down. Suck in your gut as hard as you can while simultaneously breathing out. Suck in abs, exhale, do this forcefully. Let go and inhale, relax abdomen and then repeat, suck in abdomen and exhale forcefully. Hold the hollow position of sucking in the gut and hold the breath exhaled for as long as you can in between cycles. Visualize energy going from below the waist, to up higher in the spine.

Repeat this breathing exercise for a few minutes depending on the severity of the issue.

The energy going down into the testicles and erection/wet dream stimuli will reverse and go upward. Blood will also leave the erection. You can actually see the testicles pulling in towards the body when you exhale forcefully and bring the abdomen in.

This is a tried and true, but genuinely unknown, method. Please share your experience so we can help as many people suffering as possible. I had this method with me while beginning my NoFap journey almost a decade ago and have not suffered from wet dreams since. Upon unwanted erection and buildup of pressure in the testicles—blue balls—I perform this breathing technique—pranayama—and I am relieved of the issues for a few days. By making this a daily habit the symptoms usually do not return unless the habit is given up for a few days.

Pranayama is Sanskrit. You can look up the deeper aspects yourself; that’s not the goal of this message.

  2. Hope this has helped anyone. According to two people on Reddit "wow, this really works, we have got to get the word out."

I applied this technique and it is really working .. if you are struggling to do it you can take help of this guided meditation link which uses the same technique of pressing abdomen

  6. Excellent. Thank you for giving feedback.

  7. Wonderful that you are sharing pranayama techniques with everyone. There's a good selection of videos at
    http://anmolmehta.com/blog/2007/11/25/free-online-yoga-videos-of-yoga-breathing-exercises-pranayama/
that I benefited from quite some time back.
Also for those seeking to use pranayama to lead to meditation in the Yoga tradition, the following site is also excellent
    www.swamij.com

These techniques are very old, and they do work, but it takes a lot of persistence and determination to master them. Guidance from a master (authentic ones are hard to find) is also useful because some of these techniques, if used improperly, can temporarily seem to create difficulties by stirring up latent impurities.

I can't believe a physical technique like this actually works! I was having wet dreams daily until after I used this. Listen to the wise SolidStance.

While this certainly looks like an effective method, I have one question.
Usually people have dinner at nights and this exercise requires contraction of abs.
This will certainly cause problems after dinner (and even vomitting) so how about those times when we are full at night and feel unwanted erections etc..?

@SolidStance Good thing you posted this. This works very well. I learned about this from reading Eastern Yoga books. I do this every morning when I am too horny.

@liferay This exercise you can contract your outer pelvic muscles, its good enough. It starts there as primary, for relief. Also isolate PC Muscle helps and flexing it.
Being able to roll it up your abs and into your body is the best thing though... Well since this is yogic, then eat less at dinner, as it is recommended by yogis. That will easily solve the problem of diet.

  13. If you have eaten so much that you can't suck in your gut and you even vomit, I think there might be other issues at hand.

  14. Thank you for the feedback. This is truly an ancient technique.

It get sooo confused doing these. I did this yesterday night before bedtime for the first time and woke up with a sticky stain on my boxers, damn! Perhaps it might take a few days to get this done right to prevent wet dreams.

I have used the Wim Hof method breathing when urges kick in. Works really well.

#edit: Ufff, finally, after changing the style I can post on here :)
Soo, I created an account just to say thank you !

    I have a new record since yesterday - 15d without a wet dream (!)
After doing NoFap for ~2y now, I had some significant streaks in the past of No PMO, but never managed to keep my semen and full power over more than 14d.

I really like this technique, even though, sometimes it feels weird breathing in so heavily before bed.

I had some "sexy dreams" the last 3 days, usually the time, where I would get those dreams. Most of the time I dream about having sex or watching porn, but since I do this technique, I don't get wet anymore while dreaming.

I know this technique greatly helps rebooting and I can finally kick the habit once and for all!
